Basic Citrus Cordial
A bright, sweet-tart citrus concentrate for the night you want lime flavor without juicing every round.

- 4 limes, washed and driedFresh Lime Juice
- 1 cup granulated sugarGranulated Sugar
- 1 cup waterWater
- ½ cup fresh lime juiceFresh Lime Juice
- 1 tsp citric acidCitric Acid
02 · Make it
Method
- 01
Peel the limes in strips, avoiding the white pith, and combine the peels, sugar, and water in a saucepan.

Warm only until the sugar dissolves, then cover off heat for 15 minutes.

Strain, stir in lime juice and citric acid until dissolved, cool, bottle, and refrigerate.
Happiest note
The peels make it smell like lime; the juice makes it taste like lime. You need both.
