Hosting in a Small Space
A smaller room can make a better gathering.
A small space asks for a little more intention, not a smaller ambition. Guests feel comfortable when the flow is clear and the room does not ask everyone to perform around the furniture.
Keep the guest list to the number who can genuinely sit or lean comfortably, use one room as the center of the night, and choose food that does not require a crowded kitchen pass.

Lighting, music, and a good drink do more than extra decorations in a limited room.
Timing
A little rhythm goes a long way.
